おんびき【音引き】
1 〔辞書などで音(おん)で漢字や言葉を引くこと〕 looking up a Chinese character by its on [Chinese-derived] reading; looking up a word phonetically [by its pronunciation].
2 〔長音記号〕 a dash-like symbol used in katakana to indicate that the preceding vowel should be lengthened.
